Scripture:
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Devotion:
Waiting is the worst for me. There is always a mix of emotions that come with waiting- anxious, excited, nervousness, dread, etc. But when it comes to waiting on the Lord, we should be confident in the Lord and grow in peace about whatever our circumstances are. As Christians, we KNOW that God will send His Holy Spirit to flood our hearts and heal His people. So today, be at peace with waiting on God's answers to our hearts and prayers.
Prayer:
Father, Thank You for being steady that we can always count on You. We know that at Your right timing, You will provide the answers to our prayers. In the meantime Father, give us the peace we need to not dwell. Amen.
