"God Of Wonders" by Third Day
Scripture:
Genesis 1:1-5
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
Devotion:
Often I stand in awe at the thought of all that God has created. The majority of people only get small perspective shift of what God has created, but there are several astronauts who get to share their experiences about seeing just how wondrous creation is! We often only get to see pictures and use our imagine to wonder what is beyond sight, but today let your mind wonder about all that God has done from the expanse of the universe to the smallest molecule that makes it all up! Praise God for all He has done for you!
Prayer:
Creator of Heavens and Earth, Thank You for You creation! Your imagine is filled with so much color and detail that I stand in awe. Amen.
