"Different" by Micah Tyler
Scripture:
Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Devotion:
Micah shared his testimony of one bad thing happening after another. Sometimes life takes twists and turns we would never wish upon anyone. Ask God to change your heart and mindset through the hard times. It is amazing at how strong your faith will become when you really lean into the change that God is doing in your heart.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we recognize that there are circumstances that are out of our control. God, don't let me fall into negative thoughts but rather pursue You and Your truths. Renew my mind so that I can see Your vision through it all. Amen.
